“Lock up your libraries if you like; but there is no gate, no lock, no bolt that you can set upon the freedom of my mind.”

"Mouthy Girl Next Door"

If you haven't watched any of the StyleLikeU "What's Underneath" series you need to get up on it now. I personally think it's one of the best productions on YouTube at the moment and would highly suggest it to anyone who is interested in working in fashion and media.

Though there are so many episodes of this series that I would love to share, this episode featuring Caitlin Stasey has resonated with me so deeply. I find my self constantly replaying some of her statements in my head and reflecting on my own personal experiences in the entertainment/fashion industry.

"The first to share their truth in our new city is 25-year-old Caitlin J. Stasey, an Australian actress in Hollywood who has harnessed her anger against the systematic sexism of the film and television industries into a force of uncensored activism. Acting since she was 13, Caitlin’s journey exposes an industry where women have to be “cool with anything” (i.e. sexual harassment, nonstop objectification, and daily humiliation)." - StyleLikeU
